In May of 2021 it became national headline news that Pinterest and a other social media sites have banned weight loss videos and weight loss materials. Their reasoning is that these materials are body shaming overweight people.
What If “Body Shaming” Saves a Life? Let me explain.
There are a lot of people that really want the free help that Pinterest and the others had to offer. I’m not really saying that anyone should be “Body Shamed.” I’m saying that what they’re calling “Body Shaming” is really just help for those that want to get healthy.
These Sites are Not Considering the People That Are Trying to Get Healthy
Doesn’t it make sense that watching videos to learn how to help improve your health will also help you feel better about yourself. These videos are designed to educate & motivate people to work harder. I know from experience that self-improvement makes a person feel a thousand times better than they ever thought they could.
Exercising and following an instruction manual and being made to feel like somebody is on your side and helping you out is not body shaming. Being overweight or obese is unhealthy.
Pinterest and other social media sites should continue allowing these this material to be viewed. It will help people eat and live healthier. Just because one person might have cried about it being body-shaming doesn’t make it body-shaming. That just means that the person is a crybaby. This is just my educated opinion, but I’m sure that thousands of others would agree that it is healthier to lose weight than it is to be obese. Continuing to be obese is dangerous and could cause a heart attack or stroke.
These big companies need to stop bending over for cry babies with bad intentions.
Since I own this website and I control everything that goes on with it, you will find free weight loss videos and other material below.
If anybody has any issue with that then simply click off of the page. It’s that simple. It is 2021 so please stop crying and allow others to get the help they want and need. If you have a legitimate point I’ll always listen and I’ll always give you a legitimate point back.
Just please make sure it’s legitimate because crying about body shaming tells me that they’re the first ones that need to lose weight before they have a stroke or worse!!
