TECHNIQUES THAT HELP BUILD SELF CONFIDENCE
Most of us need to build self confidence in one aspect or the other, but a lot of people ignore their issues or concentrate on the negative instead of the positive. Believe it or not a few people actually think they are perfect when in reality they have some real confidence issues! I’m sure we all know someone like that. Whether you are perfect or not, stress, worry, jobs, money problems, medical problems, relationship issues and life itself can take down your self confidence rather than build it quickly.
Some of the possible benefits to learning how to build self confidence are that you make more money, you look and feel better physically, you could have a better relationships and you definitely feel more relaxed around other people.
THERE ARE NO PERFECT PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD
The most important aspect to having self confidence is that you love yourself more, which is the key to being happy in a lot of life’s situations.
My first advice to anyone trying to gain self confidence is to learn to love yourself instead of being codependent on somebody else and expecting them to boost your confidence everyday.

You can’t be mentally co-dependent on other people and still be you ! You have to learn to love yourself, you have to take care of yourself, and you have to be yourself in order to truly be happy. You can’t have a relationship and truly love somebody until you learn to truly love yourself first. The solution to loving yourself starts with getting to know yourself and learning to be proud of your life and the person that you are. NEVER BE SOMEONE THAT YOU ARE NOT JUST TO MAKE SOMEONE ELSE HAPPY! JUST BE YOU!!

TALKING TO YOURSELF HELPS
All of us have a conversation with ourselves in our heads all day whether we realize it or not. Everything we see, hear, or touch causes an immediate dialog in our heads.

If you lack confidence than the conversation in your head will likely be filled with negative thoughts that translate into a lack of self confidence. Many of them are likely to be very negative thoughts. These negative thoughts will drain energy from your mind and body and block the flow of positive messages. We all need to hear the positive messages as much as possible since they build self confidence and raise our self esteem. Take control of your feelings. Use your inner thoughts to talk to yourself in a positive manner, as often as you can.
As an example, one of my regular sayings is “I’m the man,”. I never really mean it in a conceded way but more like a joke in certain situations. Being the man isn’t a bad thing though!!
If you are “the man” or “the woman’ then be that and live it. If you see it in yourself than others probably see it also. There is nothing wrong with being someone that others look up to!
If you are a having a hard time and feeling like you’re not worthy of others looking up to you than just repeat “I’m the man” or “woman” to yourself for a couple of minutes in the mirror. It sounds cheesy, but saying it over and over does build self confidence. Try it, I dare you!! I bet that if you go to the mirror right now and repeat something positive like this out loud 30 times, it will be impossible to keep from smiling and may just change your day. It’s amazing how quickly our outlook changes for the better when we have a positive way of thinking and realize our self worth. This will create a positive dialog in your head that will eventually replace the negative dialog completely.
DRESS FOR YOU
Wear what you feel like you look good in. You won’t feel good about yourself if you don’t look your best. You will be amazed at just how much more confidence you will have by just wearing the clothes that you look good in. It just feels good when you are wearing your best clothes, when you are well groomed, and especially when you know that you look good. Don’t stop there though! You need to build self confidence today not next week. Before you put on your nice clothes go get the car washed, groom that (beard) and hair! Do something to improve your life by improving your looks and it will definitely improve your self confidence!
NEVER WASTE YOUR TIME WORRYING ABOUT WHAT YOU DON’T HAVE AND JUST BE THANKFUL FOR WHAT YOU DO HAVE!
Be thankful for the people that you have in your life and don’t sit around being depressed or feeling bad about yourself because of the people that have left your life. People leave your life for a reason. You don’t know it now but their exit will probably benefit you in the long run. Just keep in your mind that you’re the better person.

Be proud of what you’ve accomplished and what you own but don’t whine about what you haven’t accomplished and just keep moving forward. There is no future in the past when the past is negative. Put it behind you and move on!
That doesn’t mean that you are supposed to forget the lessons that you learned from the past though! The past is what makes us the people we are today!
SHOW OFF YOUR SELF CONFIDENCE
Do your best to treat everyone with kindness and to not stoop to someone’s level. Stay calm and just smile. It will drive the other party crazy because you didn’t give them the fight that they were trying to start. You will feel about yourself later when you realize that you used self restraint in a situation that could have otherwise been escalated to another level.
Walk with confidence! You might be amazed at how much more respect you get out of people when you’re dressed nice, you act nice and when you walk with confidence.
